Designing a long-term growth strategy
TWG’s fundraising capacity building services can be provided as stand-alone services, but are more often incorporated into our work to prepare an organization for a major campaign or an expanded current support program. These services include assistance in the following areas:
- Board and Voluntary Leadership Development
Comprehensive Board Development including guidance on Board design and structure, Board member roles and responsibilities, development of alternative voluntary leadership structures, and targeted assistance on Board member recruitment and training.
- Financial Management Systems
Assessment of the interface between the Development Department and the Fiscal Department, and recommendations on financial policies and procedures, financial reporting, and systems integration.
- Communication and Audience Education
Direction on messaging, campaign communication strategies, and packaging gift opportunities and other communication tools designed to support major gift solicitations. Assistance in segmenting natural constituencies with attention to engaging an organization’s very best prospects.
- Facility Planning and Facility Financing
Assistance in navigating the complexities of the facility development and facility financing process.
